The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the Centre for Tropical Livestock Genetics and Health (CTLGH) have launched a real-time livestock monitoring app under the African Asian Dairy Genetics Gains Project (AADGG), aimed at advancing livestock productivity and supporting smallholder farmers.

Transnet's initiative to prepare Cape Town terminals for the deciduous fruit export season in South Africa includes the addition of over 70 pieces of equipment and more operators. It is offshore mango season in North America and Europe, which means the majority of supply is coming from South America currently.
