Die Namibiese Akkerbouraad het weer grensaanpassings gemaak vir die invoer van groente onder sy Market Share-program. Die grens is gesluit vir beet, botterskorsie, wortels, Engelse komkommers, groen soetrissies, konfyt-tamaties, waatlemoen en soetmielies. Die grens is oop vir kool, gewaste aartappels, pampoen, patats en Iceberg-blaarslaai.
Die Suid-Afrikaanse Pluimveevereniging (SAPV) voorspel ’n jaar van groei en nuwe geleenthede vir die plaaslike pluimveebedryf in 2025.Volgens Izaak Breitenbach, hoof- uitvoerende beampte van die braaikuikenafdeling, is die bedryf besig om te herstel van uitdagings soos voëlgriep en die invloed van goedkoop ingevoerde hoenderprodukte wat die mark oor die afgelope dekade oorheers het.
