The forum for cooperation among nine leading emerging economies – Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Iran, Russian Federation, South Africa, United Arab Emirates – emphasised this determination at their 16th summit in October 2024. Saam met dit gaan vleis en voedsel ook duur word, veral as dit nie gaan reen soos die ekonome en weervoorspellers voorspel nie. Water is besig om vinnig baie skaars te raak- die regering het in die 30 jaar Suid Afrika se waterstelsels verwaarloos en besmet. Die Vaaldam is onder 20% en so ander damme ook baie laag. Die meeste van die mense wat in beheer van water is , is absoluut onbevoeg- en die grootste krises wat Suid Afrika gaan tref is waterskaarste. ANN
