China’s grain output in 2020 increased to 669.49 million tonnes, Reuters reported, citing statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics. The total was up 0.9% from last year. Total corn output was 260.67 million tonnes. The planted area for all grains increased 0.6% to 116.8 million hectares.

Die produksie van onverwerkte melk in Oktober 2020 word geskat op 335 miljoen liter, wat 1,8% meer is as in Oktober 2019. Dit is die hoogste produksie vir Oktober tot op datum. Kumulatiewe melkproduksie vir 2020 (insluitende Oktober) is 2 704 miljoen liter, wat dui op ?n negatiewe groei (?0,2%) vir die eerste tien maande van 2020 vergeleke met dieselfde tydperk in 2019.
