As of September 28, Ukrainian agrarians already harvested 40.1 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 11 mln ha (74% of the plan). The average yield totaled 3.64 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, agrarians managed to harvest 34.3 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses, with the yield of 3.48 t/ha. In addition, Ukraine harvested 5.3 mln tonnes of corn with the yield of 5.73 t/ha; 104 thsd tonnes of buckwheat with the yield of 1.26 t/ha; and 65 thsd tonnes of millet throughout with the yield of 1.57 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine continued harvesting technical crops. Also, as of the reporting date agrarians harvested 8.3 mln tonnes of sunflower seed, with the yield of 2.16 t/ha; 1.7 mln tonnes of soybeans with the yield of 2.45 t/ha; and 2.7 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yield of 2.61 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested 2.5 mln tonnes of sugar beet. The average yield totaled 48.2 t/ha.
At the same time, Ukraine continued planting winter grains for the harvest-2019. As of the reporting date, the planted areas reached 3.3 mln ha, or 46% of the plan (7.205 mln ha). Also, agrarians already planted winter rapeseed throughout 955 thsd ha (108%).
